Dag Hammarskjöld

It was reported on in 2014 that the downing of the airplane of the United Nations Secretary General Dag Hammarskjöld may have been attributed to a Belgian national.

The U.S. had been intercepting radio transmissions in the area and allegedly thereby is in possession of a transcript as information implicating a Belgian in the 18 September 1961 crash of the Albertina.

In this regard if evidenced, an assassination, this is not much different than the Western Powers' actions against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the Republic of Iraq, and the Libyan state, where the motive was control of natural resources, which stands in contrast to the Potsdam Conference (1945) established premises, where was set down a consensus for the post-war period.

The Potsdam Conference produced specific documents pertaining to Libya, Persia, Somalia, etc., and the premises established at the conference must be returned to.

The Atlantic Charter affiliated Inter-Allied Council Statement of 24 September 1941, with reservations of the signatories expressed by the U.S.S.R. and the Netherlands should not be overlooked in this context.

The above is not to infer that I concur with the Swedish model of mixed economy, Public/Private ownership, with moderate wealth redistribution, but this is not the place for a political discussion.
